Are salt pools better than chlorine pools?

Saltwater pools are trending, and here are the most frequently asked questions. #1 What are the differences, and #2, what are the advantages? In a nutshell, the answer to both questions is simple... There is no difference, and the advantages rely upon the skill of your service provider!

One way or another, your pool needs chlorine to combat the bacteria and algae that can grow in any body of water. Whether your pool has a Salt Chlorinator or uses liquid or tablet chlorine, your pool is cleaned the same way! By CHLORINE.

Think of it this way... You can either buy chlorine (liquid or tablet) from a factory or install a mini-factory (the Salt Chlorinator) in your yard.

There are no ecological advantages to having a saltwater pool or a chlorine pool. Having a pool technician who is educated on the appropriate use of chlorine is your best shot at avoiding the common problems associated with chlorine. Too much or too little can cause you lots of physical and financial irritation!
